Please follow the studio policy strictly to ensure a positive learning environment for your child.
We do everything in our power to keep our students safe and avoid injuries. However, dance is a physical activity and we do not take any responsibility in case of body injury, resulting from our dance, yoga or dance fitness classes.
Registration fees and tuition payments are non refundable. Students have a right to drop from class with a 30 days advanced notice in written form before November, 30h. After that cancelation is not available, since students are starting to prepare for the dance recital at the end of the dance program. Adult class cards and drop in class fees are not refundable.
The kids/ youth program will begin on 9/6/16. Tuition is due on or before that date ( Ballroom kids tuition is due in full one week before the program starts) . If tuition is paid monthly the due date will be 5th of every month for the duration of the program.
Tuition includes 2 monthly socials with all parents and kids that have enrolled in the program. The owner/ staff of The Spot Dance Arts & Events Center has the right to refuse lessons to any child who’s tuition is not paid.
There is a $10 late fee for all late tuition payments. There is a $36 fee for all returned chicks and automatic payments.
Practice wear is required for all classes. If a student is not dressed appropriately they will be asked to sit and watch the class. Student’s hair must be tied back and secure for the class. No T- shirts, gum or jewelry allowed.
Ballet class – Professional Ballet Shoes are highly recommended for this class.
Jazz Class – Jazz shoes, any color leotard and tights. Jazz pants or shorts are optional.
Ballroom – Special Ballroom dance shoes are required for this class.
We do not provide any type of medical insurance for our students. It is required that all dance students be covered by their own family insurance policy and it is understood that the students own policy is the only source of reimbursement.
Studio will be closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Please make sure you or your kids arrive in time for class. Late attendance causes distraction for the other students in the class.
