Contemporary/ Jazz/ Dance Fitness Instructor
Teresa Britton has been dancing and acting professionally and recreationally all of her life. She has her degree in Dance from Rutgers University and training in acting from William Esper Acting Studios in New York City as well as being a dance educator for over ten years. She has taught on the competitive and recreational level in modern, jazz, ballet and tap in all ages. She has held the position of Dance Director at one of the largest Presbyterian churches in the country, has taught throughout New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut and Georgia. She has trained under the direction of Reagan Wood Sanders, Randy James, Julia Ritter, Christian Von Howard and American Repertoire Ballet’s Sheri Alban and Douglas Martin as well as various other teachers. Some of the modern dance companies she has danced with include Full Radius Dance Company, Mathew Westerby Dance Company, Randy James Dance Works and Mcarthur Dance Project. She has also danced the works of acclaimed choreographers Bill T. Jones and Trisha Brown. Teresa Britton is also a working SAG eligible actor signed with J. Pervis Talent Agency who enjoys to teaching.
